It really is spectacular, isn't it? I'm not sure exactly how the Sachiko curse works, myself, though.

I'm extremely happy that I was given the opportunity to play this game. This is how you do survival horror. :)

I cannot believe the strength this game has. The characters are all likeable and strong, the music is incredible and so satisfying to listen to, and the plot itself is well-woven. One nitpick would be that we still don't know how Sachiko was able to take physical form again, but perhaps that is covered in one of the extras, or the Wrong endings.
I totally agree with SojaSoja in that this ending was equally tragic, yet satisfying. I like to imagine that the survivors banded together to create a small shrine, and have a private ceremony to mourn the friends that didn't make it.
This is what is missing from modern horror. Everything this game does stays spot on, and accomplishes what it sets out to do. It is both frightening and hopeful; tragic and triumphant. Horror directors should take lessons from this game's example. I would love to see a film with this kind of strength behind it. Thank you for introducing us to it, Lotus, and I cannot wait to see the extras, also.

Cheers!

What a powerful game with such a sad but strangely satisfying ending
