"Into the Valley of the Dolls."
So I decided to review another Studio Bee Train installment, since I haven't done so very often; that's right...two Bee Train entries, back to fucking back! XD
However, unlike my slight elation for Murder Princess, Avenger gets very little 'sympy' from yours truly! My goodness, was this 13-episode melodrama a chore to sit through! More details in the review itself.
Note: I forgot to physically mention how good (and atmospheric) the soundtrack was during the review, since Sony Vegas went through its damn PMS-cycle of freezing and crashing. Also, there might be some minor glitching in a few of the clips; rarely does this occur, but it doesn't detract from the review itself.
Also, toward the end, I mention how Volk is Layla's uncle, but due to the above reason I didn't physically mention how Cross (also known as Ares) and he are brothers (and the fact Layla is Cross's daughter). So yeah, context much? Lava Buster is a series of anime (and non-anime) reviews which contain brutal, honest, and hardcore commentary; these reviews are created for INSIGHT and ENTERTAINMENT purposes, and therefore, are NOT meant for monetary gain. All footage, including live/anime/creative media clips, adhere to Fair Use; comments, and constructive criticism, are welcome and appreciated.
In addition, there will be slight spoilers, but mainly for explaining certain aspects of the writing/characters/etc, so please keep that in mind. Enjoy the video.

Man! This one really pissed you off LB. This little show does look bad though. What with the plot holes, empty and bland characters, and even setting, but it looked like it had SOME potential to be good. A shame it wasn't though.

With the good ideas, it makes one wonder if this was not rushed out or suffered from production issues. It may have been something they couldn't quite pin down as well, but went ahead anyway. Good review
