THE PUNCHLINE: Monty: Trip to the Titanic Add Video

I'm the Comic Strip Critic. What the Nostalgia Critic is to movies (or was, given his recent announcement), what Angry Joe is to video games, what Todd in the Shadows is to pop music, I am to the newspaper comics. Each Friday, The Punchline looks at the funny pages and gives them a close look. The old, the new, the comedic, the dramatic...I'll look at them all and figure out why the good rock, and why the bad suck. While this is the first episode of the Punchline here on Manic Expressions, this is the 16th overall episode. So if you like this episode, then click that "Last Week's Episode" button in the credits and enjoy the archive binge! Past episodes include Foxtrot, Spider-Man, Lio, Pearls Before Swine, and Zits! This week on the Punchline, we look at a comic with a long history and a time-travel story! Thanks to jbevan70 for introducing me to Manic Expressions and suggesting I post here! ... Well that was surprisingly good and informative. Good thing you nomianted yourself for Outsanding Vid, or I'd never have watched it lol.

On an other note, if you ever find the time, see if you can review "Footrot Flats". I don't know if it's avaliable online or anything, but it's one of the few New Zealand comic strips, so it'd be interesting seeing a foreigner's take on it.

But still, good show man. Keep up the good work.

Hi Comic Strip Critic. Wonderful show, my friend. I actually did get Robotman when I was growing up, and you probably would've liked it(For one thing, he did used to draw the celebrity characters(Did a really funny couple of series involving Captain Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise where through a transporter accident, Robotman and Mr. Spock have a body part switch-Robotman gets the ears, and Spock gets his head propeller)....another time, he travels back to the '60s and interacts with The Beatles....trust me, it's hilarious!)

I look forward to your next shows. Peace.

Welcome to the site. I have never read Monty, nor really heard of it, but it looks like a decent one despite that cut off ending. I will have to go back and look at your Zits review since that is one of my favorite strips. Good work

First off, welcome. Second, I've been following your stuff since your 1st review and I've enjoyed every video you've done thus far. As for this comic I have to say that I really like the time travel elements but have to agree that it not ebdingvproperly was a bad move. Also I've noticed The Hardy Boyd book coloection in the background and those are pretty sweet as I'm a huge Hardy Boys fan but back to your video, I really liked this one and again welcome to Manic Expression.
