Fuck, I really hated Devil May Cry...the anime series, that is. The first game, which is shown in the rather dark, stylish footage, is quite fun and awesome! Granted, the cutscenes/dialogue are cheesy and retarded, but the gameplay makes the experience. I've played a little of the other titles, but I enjoy the first one out of all of them.

As for the anime series...ugh...what a pain in the dick! Where to begin?

First off, something I actually missed while watching my review again; Patty mentioned, in one clip, how she doesn't have any parents, but it's actually revealed she has a mother...basically lying to Dante like the dumbass little kid she is.

Secondly, Studio Madhouse was behind this relentless stinker! Really? Are you fucking kidding me!? The same people who brought us classics, like Ninja Scroll, Tokyo Godfathers, and Death Note...but then again, they also brought us wonders of time, space, and infinity...like, Tenjho Tenge and Highschool of the Dead. At least they haven't fucked up as much as Studio LJN (aka Gonzo).

Above all else, very disappointing! It could've been awesome, but it sucked; more details in the review itself.

Thanks so much for commenting. I really wanted to enjoy this series, but there were many problems preventing the enjoyment.
