Planet of the Apes TV Series Review by Decker Shado Add Video

I've never had to watch quite that much Planet of the Apes footage in my life... It's not something I'd care to repeat. But nevertheless, here's what I thought - in between bouts of insanity. ;)

Never saw the show. For a long time I wanted the Planet of the Apes box set that came in a replica of Caesar's head. That had the show, the cartoon, and the Tim Burton movie. In the end though, it was a choice between that one (which cost close to $200) or the one I got, which cost $20 but only had the 5 movies and the Behind the Planet of the Apes documentary. I'm cheap.

Great review. Not sure I'm in a hurry to go out and rent this show though. If there's one thing that irritates me when a TV show does it, its losing the thread of the plot, and from the sound of it Planet of the Apes gives up two episodes in.

Oh, I got the $20 box set too. Nevertheless, the summer of the planet of the apes has proved to be the most expensive undertaking I've done thus far.

And.. yes, there is absolutely no mention of the magnetic disk, or the humans intentions to find a computer or ship past the 2nd episode.. I don't know why, the episodes were 50 minutes long without commercials. You'd think they could fit a little subtext here or there...

Time travel was so casual in this series that it is surprising they never had to got into paradox or anything like that. Congrats on getting through all the Apes material. I hope your kidnapper is kind enough to leave you someplace dry with enough food. Good video
