I present another short film I was part of making at Lahti Folk High School's film course in 2010-2011 and which is my first directorial work after getting educated for it. In this four people who are unknown to each other feel that something is missing from their lives.

Yes, the water symbolises baptism or more accurately purification. Originally the finale was to be made on a swimming hall so the metaphor would have been clearer but unfortunately we didn't get permission to film so we settled for the solution seen in the film.
Okay, thanks for clearing that up for me. I also like how the characters find satisfaction not through anything overtly religious. To me, that symbolizes how we can find solace or spirituality in ways other than organized faith ("Some keep the Sabbath by going to church") Or I could be reading it wrong.
