Prometheus Reaction by Decker Shado Add Video

This has taken forever to upload - and the HD version for YouTube is saying it'll be another 30 hours or so. Yay crappy DSL... Anyhoo, this is completely unscripted, unedited tripe, and I hope you enjoy it. :)

Well this makes me think I should wait to rent this film as opposed to paying $8 to see it on the big screen. Well done Decker, even without a script. ;)

Hi Decker Shado. I haven't seen this yet....but I've gotta think, this film takes place decades(or maybe even centuries) before events in Alien. As I understand it, David is a first generation android. I'm thinking they worked on perfecting the human characteristics by the time they made Ash.

I'm also thinking, that Peter Weyland(Guy Pearce, I believe) is a descendant of Charles Bishop Weyland. Remember, the whole team in AVP was killed and none of the data collected survived the Predator bomb. And the Alien Queen ended up at the bottom of the Antarctic Ocean, so no evidence of that stayed in the Company. While I don't see Requiem staying in this timeline, I could see AVP still working....actually, I want to go back in time and prevent Requiem from getting made, but I digress.....

And as a final thought, Even if many of the alien-like things don't resemble the Xenomorphs 3 life stages we recognize...the Xenomorphs have certainly shown the ability to evolve their physiology depending on what they interact with....and, as I think this takes place decades(or maybe even centuries, who knows?) before the events in Alien. Perhaps, these were rudiment samples that eventually became the Xenomorphs?

But, as I've said....I didn't see it yet, so I'm only arguing on the strength of the Alien/Alien vs Predator and all the Youtube clips showing parts of the film. Peace.

P.S. The eggs could've gotten there from the Predators storing them for their needs?.....or the Xenomorph Queen evolved to lay them?.....oh, wait a minute....if this is the evolution of the Xenomorph...then I have to rescind my assertion about continuity of Aliens vs. Predator.....forget I mentioned that D'OH!

I actually really enjoyed this movie, but i agree it does have some problems. i enjoyed this video, great work.

Also this takes place on different planet then the original alien, its a blink and you miss it line. odds are a sequel will explain where th eggs come from and the space jockey ship the original crew found. its one of the several dangling plot threads i was complaining about in my written review.

I thought that too, based on the planet code it is orbiting the same star of LV-426, but I didn't stop to double check any info I might not be 100% on before making the vid. ;) It's a well shot, acted, and visually impressive movie - I just felt it didn't cover the Xeno too well, for my tastes.

I want to make sure this doesn't contain spoilers. I don't know how you are about spoilers in vlogs :)
