I was only a passing fan of the old Tintin comics and cartoons before this movie came out. But the wonderfully Indiana Jones-ish blend of action, comedy, and charm made this one of a SLEW of gorgeous animated movies we've lucked out with over the last couple of years.

I sincerely hope there's a sequel with similar talent behind it.

Hi Oliver Judd. Excellent synopsis of this masterpiece. I've got it on Blu-Ray and I've screened it about 20 times already! I love this film for all the reasons you gave, my friend. And HELL YES! There needs to be sequels to this film
