Lotus Prince Let's Play: Corpse Party - Part 9 Add Video

In this installment, we continue things as Yuka (who still has her eye, thank god), and during our travels, we run into a new person: Kizami! Hey...haven't we heard that name somewhere before?

@ThatLongHairedCreepyGuy

That's actually a pretty ingenious idea that has somehow turned into a cliche for Japan in a way

Definitely a good call between the direct and inverse relationships of beauty. I never thought of that!

SOJA*SOJA*88 says...
This game is just really good at sending chills up my spine man. What the hell is up with the creeper? Why is that Kazami guy so pretty and yet so evil?? And what the fuck is wrong with this damn place and the bathrooms?!?!?

But thank god Yuka finally went... Or did she?

In Japan, the more beautiful you are, the most easily tempted you are by the dark side. This only applies to boys, though. With girls, it's sort of an inverse law. The cuter a girl is, the more innocent she is presumed to be. Bad girls go into a somewhat separate category, but for boys, being beautiful is a literal curse, because you stand a strong chance of turning out to be the main villain. This seems to apply to long-running shonen anime most of all.

Bakura from Yu-Gi-Oh and that Soul Reaper guy from Bleach come to mind right off the bat. (Sorry, I still haven't seen any of Bleach. I was waiting for it's popularity to die down.)

Morishige really creeps me out, but Kazami is clearly actually a threat.

Congrats on making it through. This would make an amazingly cool scary film if handled properly. Once more, thanks for doing this.

And there is something seriously messed up about Morishige. Mind you, Kazami isn't any better, stabbing his schoolmate in the chest with a concealed knife before shoving him down a hole in the floor.

This game, man!
