I wanted to put this in a blog, but I just didn't feel like it... I've been doing some thinking and the way I see the world through my window feels small. I've always wanted to be strong, powerful, but mostly happy. Truly happy. Not so much as content, but free. I've always wanted to go to certain places in the world.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be? (sorry if I had to put this in a series discussion thread; no more room in general discussion apparently)

I think New Zealand is a totally awesome country you should totally visit, and no I'm not jsut saying that because I live here or how we're beautiful when it comes to countryside. But generally I have visted: England 5 times America (Florida, California, Las Vegas/Nevada) 5 times France 3 times Australia 3 times Fiji Rarotonga Tahiti Hong Kong 2 times Vietnam Singapore Thailand And probably few more I've forgotten. However the best place I've visited is easily Vietnam. Why? Becuase it's fascinating to see a country that is techinically a third world country; and seeing all the benefits Westerners have without realising it. If you're gonna travel anywhere, travel somewhere totally different to where you live. Vietnam really opened my eyes to the beauty of nature and the comforts of living. Visit there before the West rolls over it like it has in Thailand.

Yeah, I'll concur with you about visiting 3rd world countries giving you a finer appreciation of where you live. For me, it was Tae Chan Beach, South Korea.......worst hotel of my life! it was a room 10feet by 6feet with a linoleum floor.....and that was it! blankets were provided and about 10,000 mosquitoes.........but I digress..... It does your soul a lot of good to get the chance to appreciate other lands and cultures whether they live a life of luxury or abject poverty. Humanity is a wondrous smorgasbord of variety and styles of living. And I'll definitely second what you said about New Zealand. Friendliest country I ever visited and the countryside was gorgeous. Peace.

I have vowed to walk down London's streets one day, but it won't be tomorrow.

Also, if I had to chose between Notre Dame or buddist temples, I'd say go to the Buddist temples. They're brightly coloured and tend to be generally happier then the sombre mood that churches have with them.

I'm glad everybody got to express this. As I thought of a few things alone, I remember being a little kid and just loving to travel. I've gone across the U.S. from my home in Vegas to Charleston, South Carolina. I went through Utah, Texas, Mississippi, and have seen the beautiful purple sky when the sun rises and sets. It's foreign to me whenever I go somewhere, but its like an adventure, ya know? Being in different places is thrilling with my family, I just never got to experience it on my own. I'm terrified of flying but, on days, I wish I could fly anywhere; to New Zealand, Britain, Brazil, or San Antonio (to take pictures for my dad since he's never been there). I've always wanted to soar. So I've made a very special decision to do so (only if I CAN actually do it without fail).
