Manic Expression

Hey, all.  I review Japanese anime, and Western animated, installments; originally, I started out on YouTube (of course, due to a series of copyright policy conflicts, resulting in me getting unnecessary strikes on my account...I took my activity to Blip, and now, here).

I tend to be rather harsh and cynical, but above all else...fair and honest.  I mainly discuss the writing aspects of anime/animated installments, since not many reviewers seem to focus on said areas exclusively (I might be wrong, but hey, I can give it a shot, right?  :P)

I hope more people can come check out my stuff; I'm always looking for more criticism (positive, negative, and neutral).  So yeah, thanks for reading, and as always...catch you all on the flipside!

I'm the first one to admit that I haven't watched more than two of your episodes, but I went through your stuff and want to make a suggestion/dare. There's this 2004 japanese animated movie called Mind Games, that's fucking weird. It was a commercial flop, but got a huge cult following, and even though I like it, I have to admit, nothing makes any sense. Just throwing it out there.

I'm the first one to admit that I haven't watched more than two of your episodes, but I went through your stuff and want to make a suggestion/dare. There's this 2004 japanese animated movie called Mind Games, that's fucking weird. It was a commercial flop, but got a huge cult following, and even though I like it, I have to admit, nothing makes any sense. Just throwing it out there.

Well, I have really only watched and enjoyed Cowboy Bebop, Full Metal Alchemist, and Robin Witchhunter.  I thought Samurai Champloo was okay, but there was something off putting about it.  Gotham Knight might be a good target too.  I thought that was highly variable in quality.  I look forward too whatever  you got.

Yeah, you've got great taste in anime there, brother.  Haven't seen Witch Hunter Robin, but I have seen CB and FMA...both are classics made manifest!    I have to finish watching SC; only saw about half the episodes, and from what I've seen, I've enjoyed it (maybe those opinions might change...who knows?)

As for Batman: Gotham Knight, I would love to review that installment; I need to review more anime anthologies.  Les also suggested The Animatrix, which I definitely will review sometime down the road.
