Member Posts: 196 | Hey guys, Patricia here. After I wrote my review of Dark Shadows, I had felt that Tim Burton had officially lost his touch with combining a balance of dark atmospheric style and a mixture of funny characters and intriguing storylines. However, when I saw a new trailer of Frankenweenie when seeing The Pirates! Band of Misfits at the theater, I had a renewed hope that maybe he hadn't lost his touch. The black and white stop motion animation looked amazing and had a classic Tim Burton feel that I haven't seen in years. That got me thinking "Hey, I should do a special tribute in honor of one of my favorite directors of all time. But what?" When looking through my e-mail, I received a message from Timdiana saying that he would love to an episode of Something Cinematic of Frankenweenie. Then, a light bulb hit me. "Why don't I review every single Tim Burton movie before I conclude it with Frankenweenie with Timdiana?" After all, Tim would be going kinda full circle with this new remake of Frankenweenie and it'll be a blast to relive those great and not so great movies from one of the most eccentric directors of all time. But then, I thought that it'll be so much fun to do a collaborated review since I had a blast with Fusionator' review of the first Pokemon movie. For everyone who wanted to do a collaborated review with little ol' me, then here's your chance. The new Frankenweenie will hit theaters on October 5th and Tim Burton has over 20 movies under his belt. So I'm thinking about starting at July 5th while I'm doing the summer tribute to Nickelodeon. Whoever's interested, let me know and tell me what movie you want to review. Here's the list. Vincent/Frankenweenie Pee-wee's Big Adventure Beetlejuice Batman Edward Scissorhands Batman Returns The Nightmare Before Christmas Cabin Boy Ed Wood James and the Giant Peach Mars Attacks! Sleepy Hollow Planet of the Apes Big Fish Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Corpse Bride Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street 9 Alice in Wonderland Dark Shadows Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter Frankenweenie (Timdiana) One person per collaboration please. Other than that, let the fun commence!

So am I only allowed to do Frankenweenie or could I throw my name in the hat for another one?

Member Posts: 196 | Timdiana: I don't see why not of doing another movie since I'm guest starring on your podcast Something Cinematic. That will be my third guest appearance after we review Brave together. It must be fair that you collaborate with me with something. Name a movie of your interest and let's have some fun. SomeJerkFromBoston: Alright, Sleepy Hollow is all yours.

Member Posts: 196 | I knew it, Les! I knew we were going to do Pee-wee's Big Adventure together! I wouldn't have it any other way since, in a way, our love for Pee-wee Herman was how we first met when you read my book review of Inside Pee-wee's Playhouse. You got it!

Ok if I can, I would like to be a part of Batman in some way. But I shall pick one of Tim's more questionable movies. I would like...Alice in Wonderland. The film is right up my alley and I thrill at the chance a creating angry mobs.
