Being angry at your parent is one thing but being angry ar your parents for having them hiring a babysitter is a whole new thing all together. Don’t get me wrong I love my flocks and I know they are looking out for my own interest and safely when told me the new there just one major problem I am thirteen going fourteen what the hell do I need a baby sitter for ?
I tried talking them out of it. and ask them if you can trust me walking to and from school why can you trust me staying alone in the house while you are away. Mom simply said in her Clarm yet sweet voce which always made feel guilty that the time is not what it use to be and that she would not be a good mother if she was leave me alone unprotected. My father wasn’t much help he just keep his eyes glued to the TV; pretending he did not hear a word mother had just said. In any case what was said was finally and now I was just hoping none of my friends in Brooks Point dose found out this otherwise I will be the laughing sock of the whole schoolas well as the neighborhood.
The Nixed day I met up with my best friend, Roy who was waiting for me at the Brownlow beach boardwalk. He was dress in this brightly yellow long sleeve button down shirt and blue jargon paths he worn a taxes ranger based ball cap, and was wearing a ring his mother bought him as on his fifteen birthday. We walked down the boardwalk hitting on girls and taking about the upcoming New York Knicks basketball. What we did not talked about or my I say I did not bring up was my parent hiring a babysitter. That I pretty much keep to myself. But it did not stope him form asking me what was wrong because the frustration was clearly written in my face.
“You Okay, Fam? You look angry,” Roy asked me while his brown eyes look right into mine.
“Yha I’m just a little tied that,” I told him.
“Not for nothing but I know you when you’re tied, you looked like you wont to punch a wall. So what’s brothering you? You really look piss.”
“Nothing I said again this with a smile as I continued to walked down the boardwalk, “I just haven’t gotten any sleep that all. Infect I think I head home and catch up on some sleep.”
Roy rise his eyebrow but simply nodded his head as we both head continued to walk down the boardwalk; whistling at every beautiful women that pass by us .
Seven O’clock has rose and I was inside my room reading a an Alex Cross book when my Father walk inside my room dress in a nice blue business suit and his black hear slick back like mine. I give him a quick glide before continuing reading when my farther sit down on the side of the bed and ask me what I thought was a vary sarcastic question.
“How’s the book?”
“It’s okay. Not as good as Big bad wolf.”
“I see—well your mom and I is heading out in a few minutes.”
“You’re ready to be the man of the house while we’re gone?”
“That depends on what’s mom’s definition on being the man of the house is,” I said rater coldly as I continued to read.
My dad smile and simply tap my lift keen before leving the room .when seven thirty had came I walk down the stari to only to see my flocks with their coat on and was half why out the door.
If there anything happen you have our contact number as well as your neighbor, Mr. Reed.
Don’t worried am sure everything well be fine just don’t have too much fun while on the night on the town I told them both with a smile while my my mom give me a smile and walk over toward me; given me a hug, and kissing me on the check.
The hug lasted longer then what I expected but then again it’s my mom and my mom. And moms I have always shows different ways to tell children how much they love them and this is one of them. so who am I to complain.
“Baby where press for time,” my father said while cracken a smile.
She gives me another kiss before rubbing my face and head and whispering, “I love you,” before what follow my father outside; closing the door behind her. Knowing that this was gonna be a long day I turn around to face the person who was suppose to watch over me when it hit me; where the hell is the babysitter? I went in the kitchen and then the sitting room. Yet there were no signs of him or her anywhere. That’s when I heard a lode bang on the door.
The banging was hard. So hard that it socked the pitchers on the wall, and all I could think right now was who the hell it was banging on the door as if they were trying to break it down. The
Bang---bang---bang, the knocking on the door became louder. And the frist thing on my mind was this could be the babysitter knocking on the door to come in. but then what person would knock in search a violence way, it made my hands trembled.
Bang—bang—bang, the knocking on the door became louder. Suddenly the door few open nearly hitting the wall as the a showily finger was standing in fort of the my which give me a jolt.
