Hello and welcome to this weeks edition of Outstanding Blog of the week.
First off, lets get some more house-keeping out of this way. Last week I (that is to say Ratin8tor, who writes these blogs but doesn't post them cos he's yet to work out how to add images and what-not)(also it's just easier for me[Fusionater] to post it because I have access to the front page, plus I have to edit this) missed a week. So, without further ado, let's catch up:
OBotW: August 6th –August 12th
On the blog side of it we have the Second Opinion's first look at two clashing directors, in this case the first round between Hayao Miyazaki and Don Bluth:
On the video side we have Decker Shado, who suffered through the Planet of the Apes TV Series and gave his view on it (and here was me just thinking they stayed to making movies):
So everyone, lift your glasses for the traditional OBotW Toast. To all the winners thus far, congratulations and see you around the blog.
But with that out of the way lets move onto this week. Once again people nominated themselves in the forum, with this weeks topic post going to be posted below. So onto the runner-ups:
In Seventh Place: The Top 8 Slasher Sequels that Brekclub85 Hasn't Already Brought Up (although he has):
In Sixth Place: BigBlackHatMan introduces us once again to the irreplaceable Johnny Cash and yet another one of his albums:
In Fifth Place: Continuing on with their Nickeloden tribute is Pbmirandalooking at the 90s show The Secret World of Alex Mack:
In Fourth Place: Ratin8tor'sfirst outing as a video game reviewer where he takes a look at NewSuper Mario Bros 2 and sees whether it's worth the price:

In Third Place: SomeJerkFromBostonpoints out that while any movie could be saved by including JasonStatham, these 10 movies really do need his intervention:
In Second Place: Moviefan12 picks apart Entertainment Weekly's Best/Worst Animated Disney Films List and sees whether their argument holds water:
And the winner of this week's Outstanding Blog of the Week goes to...
It's very rare that the judges agree on anything when it comes to the voting process. What one person my think is amazing another person may think is average. This allows the playing field to be levelled out and allow the naturally good blogs rise up to the top.
But all the judges were in agreement that this blog truly was the best blog of the week, hands down. Getting a perfect score and impressing everyone.
And that blog is...
… Stalling tactic...
My 12 Favourite Science Fiction TV Shows of all time (By Les):
Yes Les blew everyone out of the water by not only naming 21 TV shows, but managing to whittle that list down to 12. And in such a short space of words he managed to describe his love for both the individual show and the science-fiction genre in general. A blog that not only took a long time to write, but showed the love one man has for the genre. So let us raise our glasses to toast Les and his fabulous blog.
So there you have it. Voting for this week will be in the forums, all you have to do is to follow this link:
Note that is the link for the blogs. It was recently decided that we will go back to doing videos as well, so nominate your video at this link:
So there you have it folks. Congratulations to the runner-ups and winner, don't forget to nominate your blogs and videos, and until next time, remember: Express Yourself.
