Hey there, guys. I’m so sorry for being late on the OBotW. There were some technical difficulties that went on for the past few weeks. Les has got some personal issues at home, so Fusionater and I are in charge of it. I realize we have a long way to go to catch up, so let’s get started with some honorable mentions shall we? Let’s get things going with the blogs.
A very well put together list of TheOtherDude92’s Top 10 Superheroes:
Ratin8tor’s always engaging, In Too Deep articles. This one of “DC’s Fear Itself”; giving his own intelligent and witty ways of writing into a DC storylines:
There was Moviefan12’s, A Look at Disney Visits: The 100 Acre Wood Top 6 Tiggerific Moments (personally my favorite character from Winnie the Pooh):
A beautifully written blog on an underrated animated Disney classic, The Great Mouse Detective, from the lovely Lindgren:
Manic “Boss Man” Expression STOP the HATE #154 on Victims of Bullying which was so very endearing and passionate with every word; going into detail of how the victims are treated like dirt in more ways than one, as the bully gets off “scot-free”:
Fluffyman (good god, I love his name) goes on a rant about Women’s Rights; how it’s becoming glaringly obvious that “hardcore right-wingers” are starting the War on Women with enforcing their laws of abortions and what not:
Our Superman of the site, Les, had a really AWESOME day at work when he was approached by an unexpected guest…:
Finally, there’s yours truly, me. Sydney, with my article about coming on too strong to the girls I’ve had crushes on in my past:
And now, ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, we come to our winner of "Blog of the Week". The winner is none other than…
JORDAN THE CHILDISH
This was the list that every Manic Expressionist went onto, but that’s not the reason why it’s the winner. Jordan the Childish knows that we’ve all acted like this in one way or another, or at least THOUGHT about being a villain. Especially with silly demands like I did; dressing up as George Clinton, having Mr. Smooth as my sexual consultant, and having Lindgren be my secretary... Why don't you just forget I said that.
To have someone like him actually say it out loud and let us comment about it is what makes this man, not just awesome, but the best BLOGGER of the week.
Now it's time for the awesome videos, my dearest Manic Expressionists. Though, before I do, I want to announce something first.
You know, I was going to put another nomination about ComicBookCast Hungry Hungry Hippos movie trailer parody, but as we all know, their account was deleted. Why? Because of copyright infringement, when they clearly did NOTHING WRONG. Therefore, YouTube is a foolish place; with incompetent morons, running incompetent partners (with some exceptions) as it has and always will do, until the END OF THE GODDAMN EARTH!
-coughs- Sorry about that. Anyway, on with the show dammit!
We have Manic “Boss Man” Expression with his video about Childish Things. If you don’t feel entertained about this STOP the HATE video, you don’t know Dick… The bear that is!
There was a follow-up video on BigBlackHatMan’s video on Ideas and Heroes called Reciprocity and Villains that was… DELICIOUSLY evil…
The man who reigns from Finland, HedonisticActor, brings us another wonderful “Tales from the North” to present an interesting take on a woman’s journey through sexuality in her own environment, The Earth is a Sinful Song:
One of the new members’, chestahab, presented us all with a funny Star Wars action scene involving a donut… No one can resist the donut…:
We also get another one of Manic Expressions, STOP the HATE, defending one of his favorite artists, Phil Collins.
Now we come to a Manic Expression first in our Videos of the Week. The person who got the most votes for May 14-20th was none other than…
Ah yes, Tim. You’ve become the first person to have an Outstanding VIDEO Blogger of the Week. TWICE! Congratulations!
The Speed Racer review was funny, had great use of clips put in, and Tim explained why the movie just didn’t work in a professional, but also funny way. The bits were great and the use of “Too Drunk to Dream” was just wonderful. We love you, Tim. We all do.
So there you have it. All of the honorable mentions and winners of Outstanding Blog of the Week! I promise that the council and I will work even harder on the next few OBotW. So stay tuned! Though, if you are busy… That’s okay too.
