Greetings Manic Fans. Les here with the help of the OBotW Committee to bring you the Outstanding Blogs of the Week for April 29-May 6. Sorry this is late, but I had a computer freeze that wiped out the first draft of this and I had to go back and put it together from scratch.....not happy about that, but proud, nonetheless to present our awards for you, my friends. As always, you all were magnificent and choosing was hard, so several Honorable Mentions are required here.

James wrote a profound article that explored the feelings and fears inherent in the generation that Nirvana wrote songs for, and what the voice of a generation can go through in the process. It sparked a great thread of responses in the comments section.

And the Outstanding Video Blog of the Week goes to..........
Whyboy
who posted his 2nd anniversary special reviewing a gem of a cartoon called A Fish Tale 5/2/12
The review was great as Whyboy always does a great job interspersing comedy clips and commentary as he showcases the films he reviews. He also has a pretty good cadre of secondary characters designed to interrupt his shows with humorous results. Since this was his 2nd anniversary special, he managed to use every last one of them in the show, and it didn’t feel forced-that takes talent, my friends. A great bonus on this show was the sequence where several reviewer friends sent in reaction shots to the reveal of the movie and were edited into the scene with hilarious results.
And so, raise your glasses for the traditional OBotW toast. “Here’s to you, Whyboy. May you continue to thwart Hell’s intention to drive you crazy and make horrible films actually funny to watch.”

I try to read as many blogs as I can, but geez, I think I missed most of these. Better check out the winners ASAP! (Or do I want to get some Fritos? Manic_Expression and Whyboy, your call)
Congrats to Whyboy and Manic Expression and everyone else. This site has a lot of quality stuff and these decisions are always tough.
