Outstanding Blog of the Week: April 7-April 14

Greetings Manic Fans. Les here to bring the Outstanding Blog of the Week for April 7-April 14(I didn’t have time yet to do the awards for March 17-March 24, March 24-31 or April 1-April 7-but I haven’t forgotten them and will post them in turn when I have the chance, so stay tuned, my friends).
As usual, you all posted blogging gold, and necessitate a huge list of Honorable Mentions pursuant to the award winner.
Mr. Smooth posted a Q and A article where, due to an accident involving an elevator and his penis, was written by his butler, Winston St. John Smythe, in which, in a 180 degree turn from the advice usually given in these blogs, Winston offers really good advice that could actually help the question askers! 4/7/12
Jason on the house posted a review on another wonderful German Author who’s relatively unknown to the West in a way that makes one want to read him. 4/7/12
Jordan The Childish posted an idea for a new gameshow that just proves that the wrong people are producing television today. 4/8/12
Ratin8tor posted another great philosophical article on the semantics between Gods and Superheroes. 4/8/12
Lindgren posted a fabulous review of Walt Disney’s first color Silly Symphonies: Flowers and Trees. 4/8/12
BigBlackHatMan posted a finely detailed review of part 1 of AMC mini-series Broken Trail 4/9/12
patrick_o posted a fascinating review of a Japanese TV mystery series called TRICK. 4/9/12
New member, Car Junkie posted a review of one of the rarest, fastest best handling sportscars ever-The Bugatti Veyron Supersport. 4/9/12
Dark Jak continued his Avengers lead up films reviews with a look at The Incredible Hulk. 4/10/12
WrestlingNerd posted a review of WWE Raw shown 4/9/12 His descriptions of the matches are very well written. 4/10/12

Regrettably, I still have to pick a winner, much as I’d love to give it to everyone for the excellence in blogging....sigh!....

Yeah I was thinking about that a while ago. I believe it's a bit unfair the way it is handled right now because I'm sure you'd never vote your own stuff. That ain't right.
Here's an half baked idea or two:
Pick the entries and let either the entire community or several people you'd entrust with the role vote the OBOTW. You could do this via PM's or through the forums if there isn't already a vote feature incorporated in some way or another.
Also it might be interesting to seperate blog and video entries. That way the choice is a bit easier since the written articles don't 'compete' with the video reviews or let's plays or whatnot. Just putting it out there...
Hi Gregg....*that's a damn good idea.....I'll run it by the admin to see if we can vote them in committee, and I definitely like the idea of separate awards for text and video blogs. Thanks for the excellent suggestions, my friend. Peace.

Yay, thanks everyone. Sorry I didn't notice sooner. I've just been real busy with class and writing up other articles as I've got a theme week coming your way real soon. Thanks again, I really enjoyed working on that review and that was the most nervous I've felt about reviewing a film because of it's legacy. But it was a lot of fun and I originally had no intentions of reviewing it because I thought it'd be too long but now I find that I don't mind writing long reviews and really, this review only came about because I had to write a paper on it for my film class in college and I thought why not take a stab at reviewing it for my blog as well. Therefore, my film paper gave me the idea to review the film.
