Shipping Confessions: Jesse Flores x Riley Dawson (TSCC)

Posted by jashykins on May 16, 2013 at 5:30 PM Comments comments (0)

Again we find ourselves at the doorsteps of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. There are just so many reasons to come back to this show. As this is another edition of Shipping Confessions, we are looking at yet another non-canon ship from this masterpiece of a television series.

I say that I like femslash because I find myself attracted to femslash pairings easier than slash or heterosexual ships. I don't mean that I have more femslash pairings than any other kind...

Shipping Confessions: Kyle Reese x Star (Terminator Salvation)

Now I am unashamed to admit that I enjoyed Terminator Salvation. Upon leaving the theater I was trying to recover from the downer ending. But that's unrelated to the ship discussed today and Shipping Confessions as a whole. Just let it be known that I highly enjoyed this movie.

One of the things going against the movie was that the script had been heavily revised (the thanks goes to Christian Bale). But I felt it recovered and became a worthy entry into the Terminator m...

Inbetween: Death of the Five

About the Inbetween Series:
I have some ideas for stories that I don’t usually write because my four main series take up so much time (that and other blog work). So I decided that between writing sections of my main series, to write short little fanfics.

These fanfics will be HIGHLY self-indulgent. Because I work so hard on my other series that I deserve a little break.

Sometimes some of these “Inbetween Fics” might be samples of later w...

Shipping Confessions: Jameron (TSCC)

Posted by jashykins on March 17, 2013 at 8:30 PM Comments comments (5)

I know at the beginning of this series I said I would only do non-canon pairings. However, the fact of the matter is I left myself open to talk about canon pairings that I think people don't think I really ship. Or if I keep some canon ships in the background. I left that loophole so I could talk about Jameron.

What is Jameron? Make sure you're not by a Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles fan. Because while some Jameron fans will tell you kindly, there are real fanatics...

Back to the lovely Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles! Oh how I've missed you. And I wish you could've lived a long life. Spanning many seasons and letting my obsession boil to new heights.

Oh, right, supposed to be writing a blog post here. Not a love letter to TSCC (aka, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles). That can wait for later.

Anyways, we're back to talking about TSCC. And we are again going to talk about Sarah Connor. But instead of pair...

Shipping Confessions: Destiel (SPN)

Posted by jashykins on February 20, 2013 at 12:40 AM Comments comments (2)

Yes, I am a fan of Supernatural. Though I didn't start watching the series until around its seventh season. Why that long? Well, I didn't watch TV around the time it premiered. Anyways, since I waited so long I had heard about the ship of Destiel (Dean Winchester and Castiel). So I guess you could say I was biased in favor of this ship?

Not really. I'm not a big slash fan (aka two men being in a romantic relationship), so I don't think I was that biased in that way. However...

"Skynet did manage to put some intelligence into their foot soldiers." My Resistance trainer for the day said. Unlike Barnes, he was white. But, like Barnes, he had the same loathing for me.

"Terminators would be useless if they couldn't think," I replied while trying to not think of myself as one of them. "If they couldn't think then they couldn't fight."

My trainer's face assumed a blank expression to not give me the pleasure of seeing him angry. It did...

Shipping Confessions: Camerah (TSCC)

I decided to start on a 'popular' ship of mine. I say popular because once Terminator ships are brought up, somehow someone talks (well, jokes usually) about me liking this pairing. It sometimes seems like that this can happen with even the tiniest opening. This is one pairing I adore but, of course, I keep quiet about it because most Terminator fans don't like it. So usually people find it funny or disgusting.

I actually started out loathing this ship and even started writ...

Shipping Confessions: Introduction

Posted by jashykins on February 5, 2013 at 4:40 PM Comments comments (2)

What I usually keep from my blog is my shipping obsession (my Terminator Fanfic series The Eternal Heart not included). True, I make music videos with different pairings but that's as far as I go (and even then I might not believe in the ships I show).

Now, I know, some of you might be confused by what I mean by shipping. Simply put: it's putting characters in fiction (though there are people who do the same thing to real people) into romantic relationship. Sometimes these ...
