With the recent conclusion of Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated, which IMO is the best iteration of the franchise, I decided to look back on a show that had a special place in my heart from my youth: What's New Scooby Doo?
WNSD, along with Fillmore, which I did a countdown of episodes way back, I think were really what sparked my now deep interest in the mystery genre. So, I feel I ...

Right now I'm kind of in the middle of watching Disney's "Pocahontas" again.
It's been at least ten years since the last time I watched it, and quite frankly I forgot how much I used to love this movie.
I first saw it when I was about six years old, and I watched it at least fifty times before I reached second grade. I just enjoyed it for everything it was, not knowing it was loosely based on historical figures.
And, you know what? Watching it again m...

In the Film "E.T.", Why is he Brown? No Reason.
In Romance Movies, Why Do Characters Fall Madly in Love with Each Other? No Reason.
In MLP:FiM, Why Did Gilda act like a Jerk to Everyone but Rainbow Dash? No Reason.
Why Did I Review this Film? ....No. Reason.
The Film I looked at recently helps re-defy the words "No Reason". The Film I looked at was an Omage to the No Reason. The Film I looked at was Rubber

Around 2003, Klasky Csupo were slowly losing popularity with their Nicktoons. While All Grown Up still had decent ratings and reviews, The Wild Thornberrys ended its run a year prior and their magnum opus Rugrats was losing steam and people were getting burned out on watching it. The addition of the newer characters, the other newer Nicktoons such as SpongeBob SquarePants, The Fairly Oddparents, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, and more, and the somewhat st...

Welcome, this is my first collaboration on this site and it sure feels good. Let's get started.
20 years ago to this day, at least in the United States, the classic sitcom Cheers aired its finale which had an audience that has since only been beaten by the finale to M*A*S*H* as far as TV series finales go. It was a place where everybody knew your name and audiences loved the characters, the dialogue, they loved everything about it.

Given that my aside about race that ended up taking up over half of last week’s post, it probably is appropriate for me to start this post talking about prominent Japanese American human rights activist and friend of Malcolm X, Yuri Kochiyama.
And I just did. So now onto the movie.

Suzuko is a 21-year-old waitress....

Four years after its debut, there is still a great deal of controversy over the Star Trek reboot. My own feelings are rather complicated (enough to fill a two-part blog entry, as some readers may recall), but they basically boil down to this: I thought it was a good start.
I like that the reboot gave the franchise a desperately-needed s...

Again we find ourselves at the doorsteps of Terminator: The Sarah Connor
Chronicles. There are just so many reasons to come back to this show.
As this is another edition of Shipping Confessions, we are looking at
yet another non-canon ship from this masterpiece of a television series.
I say that I like femslash because I find myself attracted to femslash
pairings easier than slash or heterosexual ships. I don't mean that I
have more femslash pairings than any other kind...

The past week and a half I've been following the chronicles of the controversy of Princess Merida's makeover.
For those who haven't been following this story, recently the Disney Company announced that they were going to change the image of Princess Merida from "Brave". Basically the changes made her more curvy and sultry, and took away her trademark bow and arrow.
And this pissed off a lot of people, springing to life a lot of online petitions and complain...

As promised, here's part 2 of my list. And yes, I rectified one of the missing slots from last time (and I'm sure Les will be happy to see it).
I was hoping to have this up earlier, but my laptop was acting slow as molasses. Either way, I hope to have 5 more articles on Hubpages so I can apply for Google Ad Sense soon. Hopefully I can balance it since I have a lot going on in my life including retakes for Bloodshot, tr...

Well, the Equestira Girls trailer has landed upon us and... I don't think it's all that bad.
Now like my Oz trailer article from last year for my series A Look at Disney, I'll be breaking this trailer down and talking about what I liked and didn't like.

As one of those in the minority who hated Adele's offering with a vengeance, I have often been asked who I would instead have asked to have done the theme song for SkyFall.
As much as I'd love to change certain choices, I accept begrudgingly that I can't. So tonight, I have decided to share with you lovely lot who I would love/have loved to have done a Bond song at one point in their careers. Not as replacements, but just in general.

Ever since the Rowdy Chris Moore posted a similar list back in January, I've wanted to do my own. Like Chris, I couldn't rank my picks so my list is alphabetical. Some of these are moments I've talked about in the past. And I also admit I had to make a few executive decisions. It's no exaggeration when I say some of my favorite shows aren't represented in this list. Either way, in my hunt for Google Ad Sense, it's 4 down, 6 ...

I do not think this needs any lengthy introduction. The Spider-man movies, I'm sure some 90% of us here have seen them (both the Sam Rami ones & the reboot) or at least one of them. The one that is being discussed - Spider-man 3 - was seen as a disappointment; and I cannot see many of the complaints personally. I thought it was quite enjoyable.
When making ...
